Based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, Peel House Pub Company was founded in 2009 as a public house management, consultancy and support company. The company’s flexible approach enables them to meet clients’ needs quickly in an ever competitive market place
and we count some of the largest pub groups in the country among our clients.
We offer 3 core services which are outlined below:
| 1) Distressed public house management |
| We are specialists in the turnaround of closed and distressed pubs and the management of disposal assets of major pub groups.
Our management style is an attractive proposition for our clients primarily because in most cases we do not charge a fee for our services and we generate income for an otherwise closed outlet that would be an expense in that situation. Other advantages of the service that we provide are:
A security fee does not have to be paid for the outlet. The most secure pub is an open one with a live-in manager. |
There are no additional costs to be paid in the form of Business Rates or Council tax. |
We pay rent and purchase wet stock from our clients, much like a regular tennant, thus generating income. |
Disposal of an open and trading outlet is likely to be more sucessful than that of a closed one. | |
| 2) Consultancy & support services |
| A bank of professional support staff with extensive knowledge of the industry enables us to offer a wide range of services.
Our clients are offered a full and tailor-made support package from consultancy and advice to full support with management of public houses and accounting services. |
| 3) Recruitment services |
| We can offer our clients a full recruitment service. We obtain quality licensees with extensive training and knowledge.
Typically the process invoices an interview of the candidate, a decision as to which outlet they would be suitable for, placement and negotiation of a Management Fee for their sevices. Additional training can be provided and in most cases, a bond obtained for the client to be used in case anything goes wrong. |
